About

Cassie Wicks is an emerging writer interested in plays, musical theatre, radio, film, TV and interactive fiction. Her credits include the musical comedy Professor Where, 2024 (Edinburgh Festival Fringe) and the radio docu-drama Relearning My Name, 2020 (BBC New Creatives).
She has a First-Class Masters in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Cassie did an English Literature undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. As a student, she was president of the St Hilda’s Drama Society and acted as a writer, director, dramaturg, script editor and producer for student productions.
Cassie is currently based in Edinburgh. She grew up in Hampshire, near Southampton, where she was a youth member at The Mayflower Theatre, The Point and the Berry Theatre.
